Control Freak - Chapter 29
- 1v1, main romance, age-difference, sweet story without angst. The perspective is from the submissive gong character, with occasional scenes from the dominant shou character. The submissive was in a dominant position before meeting the dominant, and the submissive pursues the dominant.
- Not a horror or crime story; no criminal activities, and both characters are good people.

- The ex-boyfriend only appears to highlight the dominant character and is not meant to introduce a love triangle drama.
Nothing happened in the second half of the night because Ye Zhou fled in a panic.
As a top, Ye Zhou had never lost control like this before. He felt utterly humiliated and thought he wouldn’t be able to face Guan Heng for a while.
Even though he thought that, he still had to deliver food. No matter what, he couldn’t let Guan Heng go hungry.
So, after a whole morning of self-loathing and avoidance, Ye Zhou still found himself busy in the restaurant kitchen. When he arrived at the restaurant earlier that morning, he had a defeated look on his face, complete with a visible wound on his lip. The employees assumed he had been in a fight and expressed concern:
“Boss, what happened to your lip?”
“It’s nothing,” Ye Zhou replied, refusing to admit that he lost in bed to Guan Heng. “Probably just a heat sore or something. Don’t make a big deal out of it.”
The employees were skeptical—how could someone get a heat sore in winter, and on their lip, no less? But they didn’t press further.
Despite Ye Zhou’s reluctance to face Guan Heng, time continued to tick away. When he could no longer procrastinate, he finally, albeit unwillingly, set off.
When Ye Zhou arrived at the school, he was later than usual. Guan Heng was already seated in his office. Being an exceptionally busy person, Guan Heng always had a packed schedule and wasn’t one to waste time. Even while waiting for Ye Zhou, he used the spare moments to handle work.
Guan Heng, with his glasses on, looked refined and incredibly handsome, exuding the air of an elite scholar. He seemed like someone completely removed from base desires, immune to temptation. Yet what had happened last night was undeniably real—kissing passionately while touching each other’s most sensitive parts.
Ye Zhou’s face burned at the memory, feeling like it was all a bit surreal. Then, he noticed that Guan Heng was wearing a high-collared sweater, something he didn’t usually wear, with the neck area tightly covered—clearly hiding the hickey-filled marks left by Ye Zhou the night before.
The more Ye Zhou thought about it, the more he felt like a beast. But honestly, how could he have resisted last night? Guan Heng had been… too damn sexy.
No! Stop thinking about it.
As Ye Zhou stood at the doorway, lost in thought, Guan Heng suddenly raised his head and, with a gentle smile in his warm eyes, said, “How long are you planning to stand at the door?”
Guan Heng’s demeanor was as natural as ever, his tone familiar and affectionate, as if nothing had changed.
When Guan Heng looked up, Ye Zhou noticed that his lips were also wounded—slightly bruised and even redder from the blood. It was obviously from Ye Zhou’s biting. This realization made Ye Zhou even more embarrassed. He avoided Guan Heng’s gaze, rubbed his nose awkwardly, and walked into the room, placing the prepared bento box on the desk.
Perhaps Ye Zhou had turned his frustration into culinary inspiration this morning because the meal was incredibly lavish. There was fish, meat, shrimp, and vegetables, with the rice packed to the brim—almost as if he was afraid Guan Heng might starve. This ultra-luxurious bento box could easily feed two grown men.
Feeling even more self-conscious, Ye Zhou realized he’d overdone it. He scratched his head and awkwardly explained, “Uh… just thought you could use some nourishment.”
But as soon as the words left his mouth, he realized they sounded off—like they had done something last night that required serious physical recovery.
Thankfully, Guan Heng didn’t mention anything about the previous night. He simply smiled and said, “Thank you.”
Ye Zhou quickly changed the subject. “If you can’t finish it…”
Before he could finish, Guan Heng interrupted, “You probably haven’t eaten yet either, have you? Let’s eat together.”
Since Guan Heng rarely took breaks, they usually didn’t eat together. Ye Zhou would just watch him eat while chatting a bit. But with Guan Heng making such a suggestion, how could Ye Zhou refuse? Besides, wasting food wasn’t good, right? “…Then I’ll just have a little.”
Ye Zhou grabbed a standard round chair and sat to Guan Heng’s right. When he delivered meals, he always brought utensils, but only one set. Guan Heng, however, had his own pair of chopsticks. After washing them, he handed his clean chopsticks to Ye Zhou.
Ye Zhou froze for a moment but didn’t refuse. He took them, and Guan Heng naturally picked up the chopsticks Ye Zhou had brought, as if it were the most normal thing in the world—as if there were no distinction between ‘his’ and ‘mine.’
Sharing a single bento box was already an intimate gesture, but now they were even swapping utensils. While Guan Heng had used Ye Zhou’s bowls and chopsticks before when eating at his house, this felt different—like they had grown even closer.
Ye Zhou thought for a moment and suddenly chuckled, silently cursing himself for being so useless. Falling in love had turned him into a teenager, with his mood swinging wildly up and down.
Guan Heng turned his head to ask, “What’s so funny?”
“Nothing,” Ye Zhou replied with a smile, shaking his head. He held his chopsticks in his right hand while Guan Heng used his left. This way, their elbows didn’t get in each other’s way, and their bodies were very close.
Guan Heng had that kind of handsome look that kept people at a distance—impressive yet intimidating. But up close, he was even more stunning. His jawline was exquisite, his high nose was especially prominent in profile, and his thin lips, lightly pressed together, were particularly alluring. A faint, fresh blood scab on his lips only added to his charm, and there was a subtle fragrance emanating from him.
Ye Zhou couldn’t help but stare at his lips, and it was impossible not to think about the soft sensation of biting them last night. This was part of why Ye Zhou didn’t want to see Guan Heng today. Just catching a whiff of his scent stirred him up, filling his mind with all sorts of inappropriate thoughts.
Ye Zhou had always thought his self-control was strong—that he could at least maintain his composure. But after last night, he had to admit that when it came to the bedroom, men were all beasts.
Guan Heng noticed Ye Zhou had stopped eating and slightly tilted his head to glance over. “Not eating anymore? You’ve barely had anything.”
I want to eat you.
The thought popped unbidden into Ye Zhou’s mind as Guan Heng’s face drew closer. They were alone, the atmosphere was just right, and after last night’s intimacy, Ye Zhou couldn’t resist leaning in, wanting to kiss him.
Guan Heng stared directly at Ye Zhou, his gaze steady and unflinching. His expression, hidden behind his glasses, was unreadable.
But just then, hurried footsteps echoed down the hallway, and Jian Huan suddenly burst into the room. “Sorry, Professor Guan! I’m late from class—hope you don’t mind me taking a bit of your time.”
Ye Zhou had already reacted swiftly and backed away the moment he heard the commotion outside.
Jian Huan, acting as if he hadn’t noticed anything, only paused for a second upon seeing Ye Zhou eating next to Professor Guan. Then, completely oblivious, he walked straight to Guan Heng’s desk.
Ye Zhou: “…”
For a moment, Ye Zhou thought he finally understood why Jian Huan’s academic journey had been so rough—this kid had no emotional intelligence.
Guan Heng, on the other hand, didn’t seem fazed at all, as though he didn’t care about being caught. His attention wasn’t on Jian Huan but instead on Ye Zhou’s awkward expression. He even chuckled slightly.
When Ye Zhou calmed down, he realized he might have been a bit impulsive. This was still a school, and he couldn’t cause trouble for Guan Heng. After tidying up the table a little and placing the lunchbox to the side, he quietly retreated to the sofa without saying a word.
Ye Zhou had expected there to be plenty of food left, but when he glanced over, he realized half of it was already gone. “…”
When did that happen? He hadn’t noticed at all. Guan Heng’s eating speed was unreal.
After Jian Huan left, Ye Zhou watched as Guan Heng finished off the remaining half of the meal—every last bite. While not entirely surprised, he was still a bit taken aback.
Guan Heng’s appetite… it was like a bottomless pit!
