- Chapter 79 - Extra 5 - Wedding.
Winter in City A comes quickly. Autumn would come by and then disappear in the blink of an eye, replaced by winter.
The colder it got, the more Ye Chaoran liked to sleep next to Jiang Xunmo at night.
Sleeping next to each other wasn’t the major point. The most important thing was that the two of them were in an intimate relationship. As soon as the distance between them was cut short, those charming instincts would automatically float up.
Jiang Xunmo would always respect Ye Chaoran’s thoughts on these matters. As long as Ye Chaoran said no, Jiang Xunmo would take the initiative to retreat.
But after all, the two of them were young and energetic boys. As they stuck together like this every day, it was inevitable for some sparks to be created.
Several times, Ye Chaoran and Jiang Xunmo’s fire would be stoked so often that the two of them would have to separate due to their concern for each other.
Each person would stay on one side of the huge bed. After both of them had calmed down, they would cautiously try to get closer again.
If things went on like this, not only Ye Chaoran, but even Jiang Xunmo wouldn’t be able to bear it.
Just as Jiang Xunmo was about to retreat again, Ye Chaoran suddenly held his hand.
Jiang Xunmo looked at him, puzzled.
Beads of sweat formed on the tip of Ye Chaoran’s nose. After a while, he said in a hoarse voice, “How about we do it?”
Jiang Xunmo looked at Ye Chaoran in shock.
Ye Chaoran was ashamed to look at him, so he looked away and said vaguely, “It can’t always be like this. Aren’t we already… lovers?”
Jiang Xunmo still didn’t speak.
This long waiting process was torture for Ye Chaoran, and he felt like he was starting to sweat all over.
What’s going on? He said it was okay. Why didn’t Jiang Xunmo say anything?
Ye Chaoran felt unhappy and looked up at Jiang Xunmo. Only then did he see Jiang Xunmo with a red face and a little water accumulated in his eyes.
Ye Chaoran’s heart trembled, and he murmured, “Brother Jiang… Um.”
Ye Chaoran had no chance to say the rest. Jiang Xunmo’s kisses were always slow, gentle and considerate. This was the first time that he showed his dominance and strength in front of Ye Chaoran.
If he wasn’t already lying on the bed, Ye Chaoran was sure that his legs would have gone weak.
After the kiss ended, Ye Chaoran’s eyes welled up with tears, and his breathing became even more rapid.
But Jiang Xunmo did not continue. Instead, he leaned over and placed a soft kiss on Ye Chaoran’s forehead, saying in a hoarse voice, “Go to sleep.”
Ye Chaoran’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Brother Jiang, could it be that you…”
“What do you want to say?” Jiang Xunmo interrupted Ye Chaoran faster.
Ye Chaoran blushed and buried himself in the pillow, pretending that he didn’t say anything.
Jiang Xunmo felt amused in his heart, but explained it to Ye Chaoran. “It’s not possible right now…” After a pause, he added, “I have to make some preparations.”
Ye Chaoran turned his head and looked at him. “Do we still need to prepare?”
Jiang Xunmo looked at him silently.
Ye Chao then realized what he meant. He lay on the pillow and hesitated for a while before saying, “How about ordering it online?”
Jiang Xunmo looked at him in surprise.
Ye Chaoran quickly added, “I’m just making a suggestion.”
Of course, Jiang Xunmo had already gone to get his cell phone.
Half an hour later, the delivery boy rang the doorbell right on time.
Jiang Xunmo put on his clothes and hurriedly left the bedroom. Within a minute, he hurried back.
Ye Chaoran suddenly realized that he seemed to have no way to refuse now.
Jiang Xunmo walked to the bed and placed the bag on the bedside.
The two people’s eyes met, as if they were engaged in a silent negotiation.
After an unknown amount of time, Ye Chaoran finally compromised. “I’ll… go take a shower first.”
Jiang Xunmo blocked his way. “I’ll go with you.”
Ye Chaoran opened his mouth to refuse, but Jiang Xunmo no longer gave him a chance to.
Before this, Jiang Xunmo always gave Ye Chaoran a chance to refuse, but this time, Ye Chaoran was the one who indulged him.
Jiang Xunmo no longer wanted to know about advancing or retreating. He wanted to climb up the pole and gain more inches!
Ye Chaoran was picked up by Jiang Xunmo, and the bathtub in the bathroom was filled with water.
The water continued to swirl with the swaying, stirring up ripple after ripple.
There’s no telling how long it took for the shaking water to completely calm down.
By the time Ye Chaoran came out, his waist and his legs were weak, and he had no strength to walk at all. It was Jiang Xunmo who carried him out.
At around three o’clock in the morning, both of them were tired. But as they laid on the same bed with their fingers clasped together, the lingering affection was clear in their hearts without even saying it.
After some time, Ye Chaoran suddenly said softly, “Brother Jiang.”
“Yeah?”
“I like you.”
Jiang Xunmo’s eyes were full of smiles. He took Ye Chaoran’s hand, gently kissed it, and said sincerely and solemnly, “I love you.”

Time flies. In the blink of an eye, Ye Chaoran and Jiang Xunmo graduated.
On the day of their graduation ceremony, Jiang Xunmo proposed to Ye Chaoran.
Jiang Xunmo came to the stage to speak as the student representative. Everyone thought it was just an ordinary speech, and even Ye Chaoran thought so.
That is, until he watched as Jiang Xunmo, wearing a graduation robe, held the microphone and walked towards him affectionately before dropping down on one knee.
The screams of their classmates practically blew the roof off of the auditorium.
Ye Chaoran actually couldn’t remember what Jiang Xunmo said at that time. The noise around him was too loud, and he couldn’t control his emotions enough to not burst into tears. He only remembered Jiang Xunmo asking him, “Ye Chaoran, will you marry me?”
Ye Chaoran’s answer was affirmative. “Yes.”
Therefore, the Ye family and the Jiang family, who learned the good news that day, immediately began to prepare for their wedding.
Ye Chaoran was shocked when he found out. He wanted to say that there was no need to be in such a hurry, but the elders of both families reached a high degree of unity on this matter.
The sooner, the better!
The reason for the Jiang family to be so anxious was entirely because this is what Jiang Xunmo asked them to do.
As for the Ye family… Ye Zong called Ye Pei that night and told him about the incident. He also mentioned that he hoped Ye Pei and Song Ya could come home and discuss the detailed arrangements for the wedding with the old couple.
Ye Chaoran and Tan Zheng were listening to Ye Zong’s phone call. They both understood that Ye Zong had finally surrendered completely.
Tan Zheng was very happy about this, and Ye Chaoran was also a little excited.
It seems that the family reunion they had been looking forward to was finally close at hand.
~
Ye Chaoran and Jiang Xunmo’s wedding date was set on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month.
The day before the wedding, Jiang Xunmo came to the Ye family house to see Ye Chaoran with a bouquet of roses.
Before Jiang Xunmo left, he gave him the bouquet of red roses that looked exactly the same as the one from when he confessed to Ye Chaoran. Instead of saying goodbye, he just said, “See you tomorrow.”
Ye Chaoran looked at him affectionately, with a smile in his eyes, and said, “See you tomorrow.”
When they meet again tomorrow, they will no longer be lovers. Instead, they’ll be spouses who can hold hands and stay together for a lifetime.
This is the most perfect ending.
