The carriages travelled for the next two entire days from Yunshan to the capital of Baigui county. 

They only paused their journey for one night in a small town called Yunpan, where they rested and replenished their supplies. Besides this, they made no further pause.

They even had to eat lunch on the roadside while continuing to rush on. Finally, they arrived at Prince Jinnan’s residence before evening that day.

The wedding ceremony would be held on an auspicious day five days from now. Yan Kejin had prepared a separate place for Xu Yin’s wedding. 

Before he realised that his future princess had an interesting side to her, he had never even thought about setting up a separate place for her.

The emperor had ordered him to come to the fiefdom and complete their marriage there. Wasn’t it all because he worried that the number of people attending his wedding would surpass that of the new crown prince’s? That must be why he simply didn’t give anyone the opportunity to.
