“Well, so far it’s not a bad result, isn’t it?”
In a room of Duke Voltio’s house in the royal capital, Sophia and Orion were in the middle of a strategy meeting.
When Sophia married Randall, Orion came with her as her bodyguard – or rather, Sophia begged the king for it.
It had been a week since Sophia and Randall married.
Even after getting married, Randall’s cold attitude didn’t change, and Sophia hadn’t even spent her first night with him. This was because he didn’t come to her room on the day of the wedding. For the sake of appearances, Sophia was given a very large and luxurious room as Randall’s wife, but she was separated from Randall’s private quarters and had a separate bedroom.
Sophia didn’t expect a lovey-dovey new life to begin with after marrying Randall, so she wasn’t disappointed. As she had originally intended, she succeeded in leaving the castle. She was one step away from being a villainess.
However, she couldn’t let her guard down just because she’s married. She couldn’t feel safe when her marriage with Randall was so cold. In order to avoid the event of her condemnation as a villainess, she needed Randall to love her at all costs. Or rather, Sophia wanted to be loved by him.
“Is Randall staying overnight at the castle again today?”
“Yeah.”
It had been a week since Randall and Sophia got married, and he had been sleeping in the castle every day and hadn’t come home at all. It was rather disappointing to be rejected this much, but since Randall accepted this marriage in the first place to “monitor” Sophia, she felt that there was no point in him keeping his distance from Sophia.
“Well, I guess we have to find a way to get him to come home at least.”
“Right?”
Sophia nodded in response to Orion’s words. Sophia wanted to change the fate of being condemned as a villainess, and at the same time she wanted to conquer Randall! She didn’t know what Sophia (the character), who was not a heroine, should do to conquer Randall, but at least she wouldn’t have to live like she was now.
Orion thought about it, then clapped her hands.
“Why don’t you try that?”
“That?”
Orion grinned.
“It was part of Randall’s route! The ‘get well soon’ event!”
Sophia remembered the first still she got in Randall’s route in “The Snows of Glastona.”
[Get well soon event.]
It was an event in which Randall came to visit Keira who had a high fever, and you could get a still of when he places a wet towel on Keira’s forehead as she sleeps. Sophia from her previous life was moved by the still image of him, who was not good at expressing affection, changing the towel on top of her face.
(…I want the ‘Get-Well-Soon’ still.)
Of course, you couldn’t get “stills” here. But she wanted to see Randall’s face at that moment. She wished she had a camera. What a sad world.
Sophia nodded, thinking it was a good idea, but now she had a question.
“Hey, how do you get a high fever?”
“…”
She didn’t mean to brag, but she was so healthy that she had hardly ever caught a cold.
Sophia and Orion both groaned in contemplation, “Ummm.”
