Villain Husband, Please Let Go - Chapter 26
Tang Wang twitched her mouth slightly and then looked at the concerned Yun Nuan.
Although she had just had a long conversation with Little Cutie, only a few seconds had actually passed.
“I’m fine, thank you for your concern,” Tang Wang said to Yun Nuan, her tone a bit indifferent.
“I’m glad you’re okay. Here are the notes I took while you were absent. Feel free to use them,” Yun Nuan offered.
Tang Wang raised an eyebrow slightly, took the notes, and nodded, “Okay, thank you.”
“You’re welcome. We’re all classmates, so it’s only natural to help each other out,” Yun Nuan smiled.
Yun Nuan’s family background, though not poor, is considered less prestigious compared to the Tang family. In this elite school, she’s seen as having the lowest family status among her peers. However, she’s top in her class and very skilled in social interactions, maintaining good relationships with her classmates, unlike the original Tang Wang, who had almost no friends apart from Zhou Weiwei.
The seat to Tang Wang’s left was Yun Nuan’s because no one else was willing to sit there.
From Tang Wang’s sharp business sense, Yun Nuan’s behavior seemed no different from a central air conditioner—she was warming others with a purpose.
Yun Nuan’s assistance to Tang Yitong appeared to Tang Wang as mere charity. “If I remember you, I’ll bring you something to eat; if I don’t, well, sorry, I’m not your mom—I’m not keeping track of your meals.”
But she had to admit that Yun Nuan’s kind of personality tends to be well-liked and easily earns others’ favor.
But with her current perspective, she looked down on someone like Yun Nuan.
Seeing Yun Nuan proactively lending her notes to Tang Wang, the classmate behind Yun Nuan, Lu Rongrong, gently tapped her on the back and whispered, “Yun Nuan, why are you lending her your notes?”
Tang Wang used to bully her quite a bit.
Yun Nuan just smiled softly, “She’s my deskmate. It’s only right to help each other.”
“You’re just too kind! You help everyone!” Lu Rongrong said with a hint of helplessness.
If it weren’t for the fact that Tang Wang is the eldest daughter of the Tang family and their family might have business dealings with the Tang family, they wouldn’t want to deal with her at all, given her temperament.
Yun Nuan continued to smile gently.
“By the way, my brother will be home this weekend. He’s a top student from Kyoto University and was the top scholar in our city a few years ago. Would you like to come over and have him tutor us? I’ll let you in on a secret—my brother is super handsome!” Lu Rongrong said.
The top scholar she mentioned was, of course, the male lead, Lu Yi.
Yun Nuan hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded with a smile, “Sure!”
“That’s great! When my brother asks about my performance at school, you must speak well of me. Please!” Lu Rongrong requested.
“Okay!”
Tang Wang overheard their conversation and was intrigued.
The male and female leads haven’t met yet?
Maybe it’s time to intervene…
But just as this thought crossed her mind, Little Cutie burst in, exclaiming, “Host, you can’t break up the couple! Remember, the male lead isn’t yours—only the antagonist is!”
“Got it!” Tang Wang huffed in response.
She then added, “But what if I don’t interfere and they still don’t end up together?”
“That’s impossible! They are destined to be together!” Little Cutie insisted firmly.
Then, with a hint of hesitation, Little Cutie added, “If they don’t end up together, as long as it wasn’t due to your interference, it’s fine. But forcibly blocking the male and female leads from being together will result in punishment, and I don’t want to punish you.” After all, this was his first host, and he didn’t want her to disappear so soon after binding with him.
