Villain Husband, Please Let Go - Chapter 40
“Feels so good to eat like this!” Tang Wang took another big gulp of beer.
Seeing this, Tang Yitong reminded, “Don’t drink too much.”
“What’s too much? Back in the day… I… hic… could drink eight bottles without getting drunk!” Tang Wang declared proudly.
Tang Yitong hadn’t suspected anything unusual yet, as Tang Wang’s rebellious nature made sneaking drinks a common occurrence.
But it didn’t take long for him to realize something was off.
At that moment, Tang Wang suddenly fixed her gaze on him and pointed at the barbecue in front of her. “Yitong, feed me!”
Hearing this, Tang Yitong shivered and stared at her.
At that moment, Tang Wang’s face was flushed, her lips were swollen, and her eyes seemed a bit dazed.
Tang Yitong quickly realized what was happening. “Are you drunk?”
“I’m not drunk! Will you feed me or not? Aren’t you supposed to be a good husband?” Tang Wang asked with a look of grievance.
Hearing this, Little Cutie quickly reminded her, “Host! Wake up! If you talk like that, he’ll get suspicious!”
However, Tang Wang was too disoriented to understand.
If he had known that the host would get drunk so easily, he would have stopped her earlier.
Tang Yitong didn’t suspect anything, but as he looked at Tang Wang, his expression grew increasingly intense.
He sat down next to her, his gaze burning as he asked, “What did you just say?”
“What… hic! What did you say?” Tang Wang hiccuped again.
Seeing this, Tang Yitong decided not to press further. Instead, he picked up a skewer of barbecue and held it near Tang Wang’s mouth, softly coaxing, “Call me ‘husband,’ and I’ll feed you.”
Tang Wang paused for a moment, then looked at him with longing, and playfully said, “Husband… give it to me!”
So obedient! So cute!
Tang Yitong couldn’t help but break into a broad smile. For you! I’ll give you anything! I’d even give you my heart if I could!
He then held the barbecue to Tang Wang’s mouth so she could take a bite.
When Tang Wang wanted more, Tang Yitong, struggling to control his racing heart, pointed to his lips and said, “Kiss me, and I’ll give you more.”
Immediately, Tang Wang lunged at him, attacking his lips with fervent kisses.
This was a kiss filled with the flavors of barbecue and beer—cheesy and direct.
But for Tang Yitong, it was indescribably wonderful.
“Ding! Tang Yitong’s favorability +3, current favorability 99!” the system announced.
However, Tang Wang didn’t hear this.
At this moment, she was being passionately kissed by Tang Yitong, who held her tightly in his arms until she fell asleep. He didn’t release her immediately but instead kissed her from her forehead to her collarbone before reluctantly carrying her back to the bedroom.
In the bedroom, Tang Yitong didn’t leave immediately. Instead, he lifted the covers and lay down with Tang Wang.
He didn’t leave until just before dawn.
The next day.
As soon as Tang Wang woke up, she was bombarded by Little Cutie, “Host! From now on, you’re banned from drinking! Do you know that when you’re drunk, you act like an idiot? Do you know…”
“Wait, what? You’re saying I was drunk? Are you kidding me? I can drink eight bottles without getting drunk!” Tang Wang responded immediately.
Although it might have been an exaggeration, she certainly wasn’t the type to get drunk from just a few sips of beer.
Seeing her stubbornness, Little Cutie angrily presented the evidence from last night, “Just look for yourself! Congratulations, you’ve lost your first kiss!”
“What?!” Tang Wang bolted upright in bed.
She then saw footage of herself last night, looking foolish as Tang Yitong coaxed her into kissing him.
Little Cutie was about to continue lecturing, but Tang Wang, with a curious expression, said, “As expected of Yitong! Well done!”
