Why Are You So Kind To Everyone - Chapter 46
As they walked along chatting casually, they soon found themselves right in front of the apartment. Chae-heon shook his head vaguely when Jeong-yoon said he could go on alone halfway through. Since Chae-heon had nothing else to do, he would go with him to the apartment and then stop by a convenience store. However, they had already passed more than three convenience stores by now.
“I’ll wash your clothes and return them to you.”
Jeong-yoon fluttered the white t-shirt as he spoke. Chae-heon smiled faintly.
“It’s okay. You keep it.”
“But it’s a new shirt.”
“Then come to my place next time and take it off.”
“…Uh…okay.”
Jeong-yoon, holding the hem of his T-shirt tightly, nodded slightly. Chae-heon probably didn’t mean for him to take off his clothes and leave them at his house. He must have meant taking it off to do something else. Even if Jeong-yoon was incredibly dense, he could understand that much.
Suddenly, he felt flustered. For Chae-heon to barge in so boldly with that in this serene atmosphere…
‘Kang Chae-heon, this guy is no joke…’
Suddenly, he wanted to learn Chae-heon’s always carefree and nonchalant attitude. But since they were fundamentally different people, it would be impossible to learn it. Chae-heon would always be that relaxed, while Jeong-yoon would keep stumbling and blushing.
By the time they reached the apartment entrance, Jeong-yoon waved goodbye. He really should have sent Chae-heon off earlier, but he had dawdled because he didn’t want to part ways, ending up bringing Chae-heon all the way here.
“Be careful on your way. And at the convenience store too.”
“Yeah.”
Jeong-yoon nodded at Chae-heon’s response and glanced around.
For some reason, Chae-heon looked so beautiful under the streetlight that Jeong-yoon wanted to kiss him. He felt Chae-heon probably wouldn’t get angry if he mustered the courage, but he couldn’t do that here since it was his own apartment complex. Even a fool blindly flailing in love wouldn’t be mindless enough to do something that crazy.
After some contemplation, Jeong-yoon nodded to himself in determination. He then grabbed Chae-heon’s wrist and started walking briskly toward the apartment. The bewildered Chae-heon obediently followed, practically being dragged along by Jeong-yoon. Despite being larger and stronger, he trailed behind like a baby duck following its mother.
After pressing the passcode for the common entrance, he dragged Chae-heon in as soon as the door opened. He then turned the corner and went down a secluded basement stairwell.
Before the clueless Chae-heon knew what was happening, Jeong-yoon boldly shoved him against the flickering emergency light on the wall.
What happened next was simply insane.
Because Jeong-yoon grabbed Chae-heon by the collar and kissed him.
The two lips quickly touched and then parted way with a sound. It was a brief kiss that barely grazed before breaking apart. After his brazen act, Jeong-yoon released Chae-heon’s collar and took a slight step back, feeling rather awkward about what to do next.
Chae-heon’s eyes were blank as he stared at Jeong-yoon.
“Hah-.”
Jeong-yoon let out an embarrassed sigh and turned his head away, avoiding Chae-heon’s gaze. At this angle, his flushed ears would be clearly visible, but that was better than being caught with a blushing face.
In fact, it had taken great restraint up to this point. Ever since they were walking down that street, Jeong-yoon had wanted to embrace Chae-heon beside him and kiss him.
Chae-heon’s expression was still blank. He kept staring at Jeong-yoon, seeming to process what had just happened. Then he gave a faint smile before abruptly grabbing Jeong-yoon’s cheek and pulling him in close.
Their lips met again in an instant. Jeong-yoon tensed his shoulders in surprise before relaxing. It wasn’t their first kiss, and kissing Chae-heon now felt more ecstatic than embarrassing.
Chae-heon’s tongue slowly entered Jeong-yoon’s mouth and enveloped his tongue, grazing his palate. The wet sounds echoed leisurely in the dim stairwell. What was meant to be a light parting kiss somehow became rather steamy.
Jeong-yoon closed his eyes and moved slowly along with Chae-heon’s touch. Before he knew it, his back was against the wall. Chae-heon pressed his body tightly against him, his tongue gently probing his mouth. Surprisingly, the weight felt comforting.
Their warm and moist tongues brushed against each other slowly. As Chae-heon slid his leg between Jeong-yoon’s, his hand that had been caressing Jeong-yoon’s cheek slowly descended. Tracing his collarbone and skimming along his waist, it slipped stealthily under the loose t-shirt.
Jeong-yoon chuckled softly with their lips still pressed together. His body tingled under Chae-heon’s bare touch. A haze-like heat rose wherever his hand touched. It was a strange yet satisfying feeling.
“Hmm…”
Even though his lips were sealed, a laughter-filled moan escaped involuntarily.
It was then. Chae-heon hastily parted his lips. With a slight smack, their lips separated. The hand on Jeong-yoon’s waist swiftly withdrew.
Panting lightly, Jeong-yoon looked up at Chae-heon, whose flushed face wore an awkward expression as he took a step back – an explanation clearly needed.
Chae-heon stated simply,
“I’m hard.”
Though his words were brief, Jeong-yoon understood immediately.
They had done it once before. He said he did it alone a few times while taking a shower, but no matter how much time passed, he got aroused again. There was no denying that Chae-heon was truly a young man with impressive size and vitality.
“Ah, I see. That’s how it is. What should we do now?”
Jeong-yoon found it difficult to respond and could only mumble a bland and ridiculous reply. Chae-heon chuckled quietly.
“I would like to continue.”
“That’s a bit tricky…it would be public indecency.”
If they got caught carrying on like this… Oh, Jeong-yoon didn’t even want to imagine it. That arousing face of Kang Chae-heon’s should be his alone to admire.
Tsk. Chae-heon clicked his tongue in disappointment.
“I should have brought the car.”
“…”
Jeong-yoon cleared his throat awkwardly at those words. Oh no, he was in big trouble. From now on, every time he rode in Kang Chae-heon’s car, lewd thoughts would come unbidden.
Whether Jeong-yoon felt embarrassed or not, the composed Chae-heon simply put an arm around his shoulders and they started walking. He seemed to suggest heading upstairs now. Jeong-yoon followed Chae-heon’s lead, his steps carrying a lingering reluctance.
As they climbed the stairs, Jeong-yoon glanced down and noticed Chae-heon’s sweatpants were still tented in the front. If he went home like that, it would certainly be a sight of public indecency.
“Kang Chae-heon.”
“Yeah?”
“Let’s talk about our major.”
“…What?”
“Is Professor Kim Hoon’s hair a wig? Last time at the outdoor seminar, he desperately held it down when the wind blew.”
“…”
“You’re close with the professors, so you’d know, right? It’s a wig, right?”
There’s nothing more certain than saying something like this to cool down a heated atmosphere. And talking about the major professor’s wig was a straight up mood-killer. As a fellow man, Jeong-yoon knew that fact very well.
Chae-heon just listened to Jeong-yoon’s words that were thrown out of nowhere, and then he laughed out loud.
“No matter how close I am to the professors, I don’t know enough about the wig situation.”
Jeong-yoon became very satisfied. See? Chae-heon’s earlier dignified demeanor was quickly deflating. It was truly an excellent topic choice.
Soon the two came up to the first floor again. Chae-heon playfully tapped Seo Jeong-yoon’s butt with a smile that hadn’t gone away yet. It was as if Seo Jeong-yoon was misbehaving like a six-year-old child.
“Alright, let’s head up now before your mom scolds you.”
“I’m not a kid. She won’t scold me for being a little late. It’s not even dawn yet.”
“Okay, okay. Take care.”
Chae-heon nodded with arms crossed. It seemed like he was really taking care of him, which made Jeong-yoon feel strange. But it really was time for him to go upstairs.
“I’m really going now. And again, be careful at the convenience store.”
Jeong-yoon waved and turned to walk towards the elevator. Though still reluctant, he had to leave soon. Glancing back, he saw Chae-heon still watching him. Turning the corner and heading towards the elevator, he nonchalantly waved his hand and slipped behind the wall.
After pressing the elevator button, he leaned his forehead against the wall. He had tried to act casual and look cool when turning away, but as soon as Chae-heon was out of sight, the tension drained from him. Hearing footsteps around the corner, then the entrance door opening and closing, it seemed Chae-heon had left.
“Ah…I think I’m going to die.”
Jeong-yoon muttered to himself. This must be what it feels like to be so happy that you could die.
‘This feels like I’m dating Kang Chae-heon…’
Sex partner. Or romantic involvement. He had long pondered the nature of his relationship with Chae-heon, and today he felt like he caught a glimpse of the truth.
Wasn’t being sex partners supposed to mean casually hooking up for sex with no feelings, then coolly parting ways? However, it seemed that Chae-heon’s actions, Jeong-yoon’s feelings, and the current situation that he had seen so far were not all directed toward that relationship.
‘Then what we two are doing right now can’t be…’
Lost in his blissful reverie, Jeong-yoon didn’t notice the elevator arriving.
As he stepped inside, the stark white lighting felt unusually bright today. It was like the lights were peering into his heart, deliriously overflowing with feelings for Chae-heon. Jeong-yoon couldn’t help but chuckle.
His fingertips tingled with anticipation.
